Is Seminary For All really for Everyone who wants to know more about the Bible?
Seminary for All is exactly what the names implies.  It is a program of Bible education for adults that ranges in scope from basic Bible education for adult learners up to post- doctoral level seminars for those who have terminal theological degrees.

Many adult Christians have post secondary education or degrees in a broad range of studies.  But often folks who have extensive academic training would like to learn more about Biblical studies and can appreciate a program of courses that are offered on an academic level.

At the same time, the Mountain South region has a large number of folks, particularly young men who are engaged in vocational or bi-vocational ministry without the benefit of formal Bible instruction.

Physicians, business people, factory workers, homemakers, and others often express the desire for affordable, yet challenging training in Bible studies that is also convenient in terms of location and class schedules.  SFA is composed of classes that are held in the evenings during a regular school year and also includes the options of intensive week long classes, weekend (day and half) weekly seminars, and upper level programs that meet both in cohort research groups and also in academic theological society formats.

1.  The costs of these programs are affordable, but not free; as instructors must be paid and deserve to be paid.

2.  The meeting times are convenient and will not impose a burden on the students family and work life.

3.  The course content is both challenging and achievable by every student in each class, due to the grouping of students with similar levels of skill, knowledge, and experience.

4. While certificates of completion will be given for courses of study, none of these classes are offered for transferable academic credit.
